Job summary

A leading pyrotechnics company in Singapore is seeking an experienced technician to prepare and operate pyrotechnics displays, and handle stage props. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and a Class 3 Driving License. The role involves outdoor work, flexibility in hours, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Preferably with working experience in both outdoor and indoor venues.
• Must possess a Class 3 Driving License with 2 years of delivery experience.
• Able to handle and install equipment, and assist with loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and operate pyrotechnics display.
• Install, test and administer technical facilities.
• Assist in coordinating with clients on stage props requirements.

Skills

Working experience in outdoor and indoor venues

Computer literate

Electrical knowledge

Familiar with local roads and safety regulations

Education

NITEC/ GCE O Level in Audio Engineering or equivalent

Job description

Prepare, execute and operate pyrotechnics display

Install, test and administer technical facilities

Handle and install pyrotechnics and special effects

Assist in coordinating with clients on stage props requirements

Set up, install, rigging and truss stage props, equipment and system

Props maintenance and running

Safe transportation of pyrotechnics, goods, equipment and passenger to designated location.

Upkeep and maintenance of vehicle.

Proper completion of delivery and endorsement of documents.

Assist in loading and unloading.

Assist in any other ad hoc duties as and required.

Requirements

Preferably with working experience in both outdoor and indoor venues

NITEC/ GCE O Level, preferably in Audio Engineering or equivalent

Must be computer literate

Those with electrical knowledge will be an advantage

Possess a Class 3 Driving License with 2 years of delivery experience and good driving records with no major traffic violations.

Familiar with local roads, routes and roads safety regulations

Must be able to handle and install equipment, and assist with loading and unloading. Punctual and reliable.

Must be willing to work outside normal office hours including weekends and public holidays

Able to commence work within short notice
