A leading bearing company in Singapore seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to manage daily purchasing functions. Responsibilities include handling invoices, issuing orders, and following up on delivery schedules. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of GCE 'O' Levels and be able to communicate effectively in Chinese due to liaising with suppliers from China. This role requires good negotiation and analytical skills, with a proficient level in MS Office, especially Excel.
Handle daily purchasing process function including receiving invoice, issue orders, tracking payment status and expediting delivery schedule.
Follow up with vendors on delivery schedules and shipping document requirements.
Track purchase orders and supplier delivery schedules.
Handle discrepancies and complaints with vendors and internal departments.
Ad-hoc duties by management.
