The role also partners closely with global procurement teams to execute regional and global sourcing strategies.

About the Role
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and purchasing of electronic components and commodities, including passives, ICs, memory, CPU, and storage.
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard in-region suppliers in partnership with global commodity management and supplier development teams.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen supplier relationships to ensure performance, reliability, and alignment with company standards.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a regional team of buyers—guiding PO placement, expediting, documentation accuracy, and resolution of escalations.
  • Develop team capability through ongoing technical, market, and product training, and ensure effective workload delegation and coverage across the region.
  • Collect, analyse, and report market insights—including commodity trends and cost movements—to support procurement strategy and global decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement of purchasing processes and collaborate closely with sales, warehouse, quality, engineering, and other internal partners to resolve issues quickly and support special sourcing initiatives.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, with 7 to 10 years of purchasing experience in electronic components and at least 4 years in team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of the electronics supply chain, from manufacturing through distribution/brokering and ultimately to OEMs.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing procurement teams.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficient in digital and analytical platforms, including Microsoft Office, PowerBI, ChatGPT, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
