Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to manage supplier relationships and streamline purchasing processes. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields, have at least 5 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in both English and Mandarin. Responsibilities include performing data analysis for trend improvements, managing team KPIs on inventory, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. This is a full-time position requiring travel to Batam.

Qualifications

  • Min. 5 years of relevant work experience in Purchasing related functions.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin for communication with stakeholders.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, 14001 and 13485 Quality Management System.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Streamline Purchasing processes, develop integrated Purchasing strategies to effectively manage the suppliers on order fulfillment, assurance of supply.
  • Lead, develop & implement policies, procedures and metrics to effectively manage the Materials shortages and implement solutions.
  • Sourcing of materials/engineering parts locally/overseas with according to Bill Of Material (B.O.M) and equipment, goods and services.
  • Perform data analysis to recommend trend-based improvements (e.g. demand aggregation) and to aid in decision-making
  • Develop dashboards with procurement trends, forecasts and KPIs for management reporting and recommend early intervention where necessary
  • Manage the team to achieve Key KPI on OTD, Inventory turns, excess & obsolescence, aging Inventory, day of supply in RAW, WIP & FG.
  • Interface with both internal & external stakeholder to derive achievable targets, set up strategic plan and drive the team towards meeting the target as set forth.
  • Other related duties if required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Business administration/Inventory management/Supply chain is preferred
  • Min. 5 years of relevant work experience in Purchasing related Functions (manufacturing industry).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving & organizational skills
  • Good team player
  • Proficient in MS office & competent in excel.
  • MS Navision ERP system or SAP hand on experience.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, 14001 and 13485 Quality Management System.

  • Need to Travel to Batam.
  • 5 days/week and Full-Time positions.
