Job summary

A marine service company in Singapore is seeking a candidate experienced in purchasing within the marine/offshore industry to manage the procurement cycle. Responsibilities include sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of spare parts. This role offers a monthly salary between $3000 and $4000, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from Purchase Request to Purchase Order closure.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, securing competitive quotations.
• Negotiate key commercial terms, including pricing and lead times.
• Generate Purchase Orders and ensure timely amendments.
• Collaborate with Logistics for timely shipment of spare parts.
• Resolve discrepancies between POs and invoices.
• Participate in tender exercises for cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from Purchase Request to Purchase Order closure in the digital system.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, securing at least three competitive quotations for each request.
• Negotiate key commercial terms, including pricing, lead times, and payment conditions.
• Generate accurate Purchase Orders and ensure timely amendments for any rejected POs.
• Collaborate with Logistics to coordinate timely shipment and delivery of spare parts worldwide.
• Resolve discrepancies between POs, Delivery Orders, Service Reports, and supplier invoices.
• Participate in tender exercises and bulk purchases to achieve cost savings.
