Job description
Position Overview
  • Manage stock levels and execute purchase orders to ensure optimal inventory turnover.
  • Liaise with suppliers to follow up on orders, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Support sales by sourcing products, obtaining quotations, and proposing alternatives when needed.
  • Update and maintain accurate product and purchasing data in the ERP system.
  • Prepare purchase and stock reports for management review and communicate updates on delivery schedules, product changes, and availability.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline with engineering knowledge.
  • Prefer the candidate have 3 years and above purchasing experiences.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with strong knowledge of Excel to include V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Know the legislative, operational, logistical or administrative issues regarding to purchasing.
  • Ability to work and thrive under pressure in fast-paced environment while being able to multi-task.
  • Works cohesively as part of a team and has an enthusiastic and good team spirit.
