Job summary

A leading automotive supplier in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of automotive parts and materials. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, along with strong negotiation and communication skills, are essential. Bilingual candidates in English and Mandarin are preferred, with the ability to start immediately.

  • Strong proficiency in both English and Mandarin.

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for automotive parts and workshop materials.

Job Description
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for automotive parts, accessories, and workshop materials
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support workshop operations and sales demand
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
  • Coordinate inbound shipments from local and overseas suppliers
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and customers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any shipment issues or discrepancies
  • Manage import/export documents such as invoices, packing lists, permits, COOs, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs, LTA import regulations, and other relevant standards
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, shipping, and inventory records for audits
  • Assist in cost negotiation and building strong supplier relationships
  • Handle daily administrative tasks and provide support to Sales team to ensure smooth business operations
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
  • Min. Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP system
  • Strong negotiation, communication and problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers)
  • Able to start immediately or within short notice preferred
