Job summary

A leading lighting manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a dedicated professional to handle procurement and logistics functions. Responsibilities include processing client orders, managing inventory, and negotiating with suppliers. Responsibilities

  • Process clients' orders and make local & overseas purchases.
  • Source locally and overseas and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Coordinate local deliveries for projects.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and conduct stock reviews.

Job description

Koizumi Lighting Singapore Pte Ltd
An established Japanese lighting manufacturer.
In Singapore, we specialise in Supply & Install of lightings in turnkey projects.

The role and responsibilities include, but not limited to;

1) ORDER PROCESSING function:

  • To process clients' orders
  • To make local & overseas purchases

2) PURCHASING function:

  • To make local and overseas purchases
  • To source locally and overseas
  • To negotiate with suppliers

3) LOGISTICS function (only 3% of work):

  • To coordinate local deliveries for own projects
  • To coordinate international shipping for own projects

4) INVENTORY CONTROL function:

  • To liaise with store staffs on inventory management
  • To manage the accuracy of inventory
  • To forecast of common stock items
  • To plan monthly cycle count and annual stock take; review results and do follow-up actions

5) Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a purchasing/supply chain position.
  • Good organisation & communication skills.
  • Motivated to work in challenging, fast paced, and result-driven environment.
