Job summary

A maritime operations company in Singapore seeks an Operations Co-ordinator to handle customer inquiries and support logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years' experience in the maritime industry and a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a related field. Strong multitasking skills and proficiency in Mandarin are preferred. This is a full-time role requiring standby duty after hours on a rotational basis.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves communication with suppliers based in China.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and provide after-sales support.
  • Prepare quotations, delivery orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Liaise with suppliers for pricing, delivery, and order management.
  • Manage inventory and logistics across local and overseas stock points.
  • Participate in team meetings and share best practices.
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking skills and work independently.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and manage projects efficiently.
  • Resolve daily operational challenges with professionalism and precision.

Notes
  • Job Type : Full‑time
  • This is a 5‑day work week position. However, the employee will be required to be on standby duty after office hours for one week, on a rotational basis every four weeks.
