Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a skilled procurement officer to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of pharmaceutical supplies. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in Pharmacy or related fields and possess strong SAP proficiency alongside excellent negotiation skills. The role requires ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies and providing admin support. Candidates with or without relevant experience may apply.

  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage.
  • Pro-active, meticulous and able to work independently.
  • Applicants with Diploma/Degree but without relevant experience may be considered.

Job description

Responsible for the sourcing, negotiation and procurement of pharmaceutical supplies in the most cost-effective manner.

Ensure all requisitions and purchases are in alignment with company’s policies

Ensure prompt response to urgent requisition requests and queries from users

Creation of Purchase Orders in SAP system

Liaise with vendors on delivery and discrepancy in Delivery Orders and Invoices

Liaise with vendors to return and/or exchange any defective and/or expired goods

Creation and maintenance of material codes and pricing information in SAP system

Prepare monthly and quarterly department reports

Source for new vendors and review vendors’ performance

Provide administrative support to the department

Requirements

Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Management/Biomedical Science/Logistics/Supply Chain

Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage

Applicants with Diploma/Degree but without relevant experience may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.

Proficient in SAP (or equivalent materials management system), MS Office Applications

Team player with good interpersonal and negotiation skills

Pro‑active, meticulous and able to work independently
