Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Manager responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring timely availability of materials, overseeing inventory management, and collaborating with suppliers. Strong background in procurement and supply chain management is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, shipping, and delivery follow-ups.
• Review and procure materials, components, and equipment based on MRP requirements.
• Monitor and expedite material shortages with vendors to ensure timely availability.
• Collaborate with supply chain planning and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.
• Oversee inventory management and implement stocking rules.
• Coordinate with logistics providers for shipment arrangements and customs declarations.
• Work with suppliers to meet quality and delivery objectives.
• Process purchasing documentation and ensure accurate submissions.
• Manage RMA and NCT units with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with RBA standards.

• Monitor and expedite material shortages with vendors to ensure timely availability.
• Collaborate with supply chain planning and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components to meet production schedules.
• Oversee inventory management, periodically reviewing and implementing stocking rules set by management.
• Coordinate with logistics providers for shipment arrangements, tracking shipment status, and handling customs declarations.
• Work with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and inventory control objectives.
• Process purchasing documentation, including vendor code setup, and ensure accurate matching and submission of PO, DN, and invoices to Finance.
• Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) and NCT (Non-Conformance Tracking) units with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) standards.
