Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage the entire spectrum of the purchasing process. The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma in a related field and a minimum of two years' experience in M&E purchasing within Singapore. Responsibilities include liaising with suppliers, issuing Purchase Orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers on material pricing and issue Purchase Orders.
• Update material usage for respective project sites.
• Monitor material ordered from site pertaining to POs and trends.
• Coordinate with site personnel regarding material issues.
• Match Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, and invoices.

• Monitor material ordered from site in terms of over PO and ordering trends.
• Coordinate with site personnel on material issues
• Update on material transaction for store
• Matching PO, DO and invoices
• Manage full spectrum of purchasing process including but not limited to sourcing, quotation, negotiation, document filing and following up on the delivery schedules, etc.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods, receiving, issuing and distribution to respective staff, or job sites.

Job Specification

• At least Diploma in related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in M&E purchasing role with Singapore.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability to communicate well with project teams and suppliers.
