A manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a full-time Purchasing Coordinator. You will analyze customer orders, manage purchasing operations, and collaborate with production teams. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of related experience and be proficient in English, with skills to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers. A competitive salary starting from 3k is offered in a positive working environment.
Analyze customer orders to plan and coordinate manufacturing schedules, ensuring materials and products are ready when needed.
Develop purchasing strategies to minimize costs and monitor buying trends.
Maintain an updated inventory of essential materials, both local and international.
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to schedule timely deliveries, ensuring smooth production flow.
Source products to secure the best quality, price, and delivery terms.
Monitor supplier performance, managing issues related to defective goods and delivery delays.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department for supplier audits.
Evaluate and shortlist potential new suppliers, providing comparative recommendations.
Address customer complaints related to materials purchased from suppliers.
Maintain compliance with all relevant ISO and FSC documentation accurately.
Ensure all purchased materials meet company quality standards.
Document detailed records and generate relevant reports.
Manage daily purchasing operations effectively.
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the section manager or supervisor.
4 off days monthly, rest days depend on schedule. Able to work long hours and late in evenings and weekends.
Competitive salary 3k and above.
