The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of purchasing experience, especially in tunnel construction, and must be fluent in Mandarin and English to communicate with suppliers. This position requires negotiation skills, attention to detail, and hands-on procurement experience with online platforms like Taobao. Immediate availability is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all purchasing activities for company projects, especially related to tunnel works / construction materials.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services from local and overseas suppliers.
• Handle procurement from Taobao and other Chinese platforms – including communication, order tracking, and shipment coordination.
• Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure compliance with technical and commercial specifications.
• Maintain and update supplier information, purchase orders, and inventory records.
• Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare purchasing reports and support management in procurement planning.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of purchasing experience, must have tunnel construction experience
• Able to communicate fluently in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written) – essential for dealing with Chinese suppliers.
• Hands‑on experience with online procurement platforms such as Taobao, Alibaba, and other
• Able to work long hours and handle urgent orders under pressure.
