The Public Relations Executive will play a key role in shaping Vertical Institute’s brand reputation through strategic communication, media outreach, and stakeholder engagement. This role involves crafting compelling narratives, managing media relations, and supporting high-impact Public Relation initiatives to strengthen our position in the education technology sector.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with the Public Relation agency to execute strategies that achieve measurable impact in brand visibility, media share of voice, and public sentiment.
Leverage existing strong relationships and trusted contacts with multiple media outlets and journalists to secure impactful coverage and enhance brand presence.

Oversee end-to-end Public Relation campaigns and manage agencies independently, from ideation to measurement, in alignment with company goals.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with brand objectives.
Develop clear briefs for agencies to develop compelling communication assets, including press releases, media pitches, blog posts, social media content, and internal communications.
Monitor media coverage, competitive Public Relation activities and prepare regular Public Relation reports to track campaign performance and brand sentiment.
Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and support cross-functional initiatives.
Open to candidates with 2-3 years of experience in public relations or communications.
Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Demonstrated experience in managing direct journalist relationships in Singapore.
Bonus: You have successfully secured tier-1 media coverage (The Straits Times, CNA, Business Times) without agency mediation.
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce polished, publication-ready copy in both English and one other Asian language.
Familiarity with the Singapore media landscape and/or education technology sector is a plus.
Familiarity with the education technology sector preferred; prior experience in related industries is an advantage.
