Come join our regional Public Relations team based in Singapore. We work with exciting multinational companies and today we are growing to support clients and work with the media. This is a graduate entry level role and perfect for anyone who enjoys working with people, has a business or communications degree and an interest in technology and the future.

It is also a great opportunity to get regional experience working with our team members in other countries and is a starting position for a full and successful career in international public relations.

The candidate will reach out to our media friends and partners and pitch our clients' news and stories to get interviews and media coverage. It is about building relationships with the local journalists and understanding what they are looking for. To be successful in this position, you must enjoy telling stories and be excited to learn and research in order to build up a good knowledge of business and the tech industries.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with representatives of the media
• Reach out and engage with journalists, bloggers and influencers via phone, face to face or email
• Pitch our clients' news and stories to secure coverage and set up one-on-one interviews and secure opportunities for content placement
• Be up to date with market trends for the tech and business industries and monitor the media for latest news trends, trending stories and content relevant to the business, client business and engagement

Qualifications

• A diploma majoring in communications or media studies
• Excellent spoken English as well as local language and able to share ideas verbally
• Strong analytical and critical thinking about what is happening in current affairs
• Detail oriented, with great presentation and communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Results-oriented and want clear goals to achieve.
• Must be a disciplined team player with lots of initiative.
