Public Relation & Communications Executive (Marketing)

We’re looking for a dynamic and well‑connected Public Relation & Communications Executive to join our marketing team at Burnt Ends Hospitality Group.

This role suits someone who loves storytelling, has strong relationships within lifestyle and F&B media, and enjoys being hands‑on with both creative and organisational work. You’ll manage media and influencer engagement, support content and campaign planning, and help keep our marketing calendars and communications running smoothly across multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities
Influencer & Media Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lifestyle writers, editors, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Coordinate and host media tastings, previews, and brand collaboration events.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, story pitches, and media kits.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all Public Relation and media touchpoints.
Community & Partnerships
  • Develop collaborations with lifestyle brands, event organisers, and community groups.
  • Engage with guests and followers through comments, messages, and social media interactions.
  • Strengthen brand visibility and word‑of‑mouth through authentic community engagement.
Crisis & Reputation Management
  • Monitor online reviews and mentions (Google, TripAdvisor, Chope, Deliveroo, etc.).
  • Respond to guest feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Escalate serious Public Relation issues with proposed solutions and tone‑of‑voice guidance.
Campaign & Content Support
  • Plan and activate influencer and Public Relation campaigns that drive awareness and guest traffic.
  • Support photo, video, and reel shoots to create engaging brand stories.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, reach, and ROI.
  • Help manage and update content and marketing calendars across outlets.
Team & Admin Support
  • Work closely with design, digital, and operations teams to ensure aligned messaging.
  • Assist with scheduling, internal communications, and project timelines.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the marketing team as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Public Relation, communications, or influencer marketing (F&B, lifestyle, or hospitality preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident networker and natural relationship builder.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
  • Experience managing press events, media outreach, and crisis communication.
  • Familiar with social media tools, analytics, and online community engagement.
  • Proactive, polished, and passionate about food, people, and great storytelling.
