A leading hospitality brand in Singapore is seeking a Public Area Supervisor to lead the housekeeping department at Mandai Rainforest Resort. Responsibilities include overseeing the cleanliness of public areas, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and managing inventory. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in hospitality management and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.
We are seeking a Public Area Supervisor to be part of the team in Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet the exceptional standards expected of our brand.
Operations: Oversee and where necessary, undertake the cleaning and maintenance of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, and other common spaces. Such tasks include but are not limited to sanitizing, dusting, cleaning and other related duties.
Safety and Compliance: As part of the role, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and guidelines. This includes internal Resort policies as well as any statutory regulations.
Supply and Inventory Management: Monitor and manage our inventory of cleaning supplies. You will need to work with the team to ensure that supplies are adequate and to minimize wastage.
Team Supervision: Supervise, guide and mentor a team housekeeping staff.
Diploma or Professional certification in Hospitality / Hotel Management or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field.
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a property of similar standing.
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
