A leading children's healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced psychologist to provide assessments for autism and deliver evidence-based interventions. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Psychology and have relevant membership and registration. Experience with young children, especially those with autism, is preferred.
The Department of Child Development provides specialist diagnostic and intervention services to preschoolers who have developmental, emotional, and/or behaviour needs. We support children with a range of conditions such as autism, speech and language disorders, global developmental delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, selective mutism, oppositional defiant disorders. We place high emphasis working with the child’s family to facilitate the child’s learning and development.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech language therapists, education therapists, nurses and social workers. You will provide assessments for diagnosis of autism, intervention recommendations and educational placements. You will provide evidence-based psychological interventions to manage mood, anxiety and behavioural issues, and work across disciplines to deliver transdisciplinary services. You will have opportunities to be involved in research and service projects.
