Job description

The Psychologist reports to Executive Director/Operations Head

A Psychologist's typical work involves applying methods and conducting tests to assess the client's needs, devising treatment plans and delivery of intervention, monitoring a client's progress and carrying out research.

The Psychologist must be prepared to work with people experiencing a wide range of psychological conditions which includes depression, anxiety, social problems, addictions and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide and facilitate psychological assessments to help clients process their psycho-emotional needs
  • Provide counselling and other clinical services for clients
  • Provide psycho-education on mental health and conduct other support programmes to help clients cope with their psycho-emotional and relational issues
  • Prepare psychological reports for holistic and integrated case management.
  • Assist and conduct research project annually to enhance the quality and effectiveness of services and programmes offered to clients
  • Contribute actively to resource library and online knowledge depository especially on clinical, research and psychological issues/materials
  • Adhere to established SOPs, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct of THKMC and Agency.
  • Strive towards achieving all KPIs and outcomes set by our sponsors and organisation
  • Undertake to keep oneself well informed of the updated industry guidelines and develop new skills and knowledge that are necessary for the job.
  • Initiate and drive continuous work improvements through the research and evaluation. Champion for evidence-based practices
  • Other roles and duties as assigned.
