Job summary

The boutique Chun Tsubaki is seeking a hands-on Prop Stylist to join the creative production team in Singapore. You will handle prop styling, sourcing, and studio management, ensuring shoots run smoothly and props are production-ready.

Collaborate with photographers, stylists and art directors, maintain an organized props house, and curate props that elevate each concept from moodboard to final frame.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in prop styling, set styling, or visual merchandising.
• Strong aesthetics, colour coordination and visual storytelling.
• Highly organized with ability to manage inventory and multiple production needs.
• Hands-on, packing/unpacking, moving and organizing props independently.

Responsibilities

• Interpret briefs and moodboards to select props for photography and video shoots.
• Prepare, coordinate and pack props ahead of scheduled shoots.
• Assist photographers, food stylists and art directors with prop styling and set dressing on set.
• Maintain props inventory and storage systems and ensure props are returned after shoots.
• Source new props and manage procurement within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with production team to keep studios clean, organized and ready for shoots.

About UsChun Tsubaki is a boutique creative production studio specialising in food, lifestyle, hospitality and brand storytelling. We work with local and regional brands across commercial photography, advertising campaigns, social media content and video production.We are looking for a hands‑on, organised and visually driven Prop Stylist to join our creative production team.This role combines prop styling, sourcing and curation with the day-to-day management of our studio and props house. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for aesthetics, enjoys working with physical objects and spaces, and takes pride in keeping things organised and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

Prop Styling & Shoot Preparation

• Interpret creative briefs, moodboards and shot lists to select appropriate props for photography and video productions.
• Prepare, coordinate and pack props ahead of scheduled shoots.
• Assist photographers, food stylists and art directors with prop styling, set dressing and visual arrangements on set.
• Ensure props are properly accounted for, cleaned, unpacked and returned to their designated storage areas after shoots.
• Anticipate production requirements and proactively prepare suitable props for upcoming projects.

Props House Management

• Take ownership of the organisation, maintenance and upkeep of the studio's props collection.
• Maintain an organised inventory system for tableware, ceramics, linens, surfaces, furniture and other styling accessories.
• Categorise, label and store props systematically to ensure easy accessibility for the production team.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and monitor damaged, missing or ageing props.
• Maintain the cleanliness and condition of props, ensuring they remain ready for use.

Prop Sourcing & Procurement

• Research, source and procure new props based on production requirements and the studio's creative direction.
• Identify suitable suppliers, vendors and rental houses.
• Manage prop purchases within approved budgets.
• Continuously curate and develop the studio's props collection to support a diverse range of creative productions.

Studio Operations

• Assist with the day-to-day upkeep and organisation of the photography studios and production spaces.
• Ensure studios are clean, organised and ready for upcoming shoots.
• Coordinate studio setup, breakdown and resetting between productions.
• Monitor studio consumables, storage areas and general supplies.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth studio operations and efficient shoot preparation.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in prop styling, set styling, visual merchandising, photography production, interior styling or related creative fields is preferred.
• A strong sense of aesthetics, colour coordination, composition and visual storytelling.
• Highly organised, meticulous and capable of managing physical inventory and multiple production requirements.
• Resourceful and proactive, with good problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with hands‑on responsibilities, including packing, unpacking, moving and organising props and equipment.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with photographers, stylists, art directors and producers.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• An interest in food, lifestyle, design and photography is highly advantageous.
• Fresh graduates with relevant creative experience, strong organisational skills and a good eye for styling are welcome to apply.
