Job description
  • Job Title: Property Officer
  • Working Location: Ang Mo Kio Town Council (AMKTC)
  • Working days: 8.30 am -6.00 pm (Mon-Fri) Able to work beyond normal working hours (5-day work week) and on weekends/ PHs where required
  • Junior: $2,800- $3,200 + HP allowance + VB + AWS.
    Senior: $3500 to $3800 + HP allowance + VB + AWS
Job Scope
  • To provide supervision and ensure that all repair and routine maintenance works undertaken by the contractors are carried out properly and completed satisfactorily in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract
  • To schedule and ensure breakdown, preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out effectively
  • To carry out regular inspections of the common property in the town and to ensure that such common property is in satisfactory and serviceable condition and properly maintained according to the standards required by the relevant authorities and to recommend any works which are necessary to the Town Council.
  • To certify completion of jobs undertaken by contractors and to make recommendation for payment thereof
  • To co-ordinate all consultancy works on maintenance matters performed by professional consultants
  • To ensure that the contractors carry out their duties and responsibilities properly
  • To apply and obtain all necessary licenses and certificates from the relevant authorities
  • To prepare and upkeep minutes and resolutions for circulation to the Town Council and the authorities as and when required
  • To act on behalf of the Town Council, in enforcing the current warranties (when necessary) in respect of the building components, if any, given by the contractors to the Town Council
  • To handle enforcement work at common property area
