Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual to manage a team of technicians and oversee building M&E services. The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience and a diploma or degree in Facilities Management or Engineering. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, team management, and contractor oversight. Strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential. Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in relevant fields.
  • Good knowledge in Mechanical systems and ACMV.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of technicians for building M&E services.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Provide technical knowledge to resolve site issues.
  • Oversee sub-contractors' works.
  • Manage relationships with team and vendors.
  • Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
  • Administer service contracts.

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of in-house technicians including roster planning, to carry out day-to-day building M&E services and manage contractors doing maintenance of Soft Services (cleaning, pest control, landscape, security, etc).
  • Develop and implement preventive/corrective M&E maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations of services.
  • To provide technical knowledge and advice to the Team to resolve any site issue. To respond and compile fault cases and highlight any major issue to managers.
  • Oversee sub-contractors in fitting out/ reinstatement of A&A works in accordance with authorities/ building’s regulations if needed. Manage minor A&A works M&E /facility-related repair and replacement works.
  • Managing and fostering relationships with team/vendors and other key stakeholders through effective communications, collaboration, and engagement.
  • Ensure set SLAs (Service Level Agreements) / KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) fulfilled.
  • Administration of service or term contracts including cost comparisons and negotiation for contract renewal/ replacement of building M&E services.
Requirements
  • Facilities management background with at least 3 years of similar experience.
  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Facilities Management, Building, Engineering or any equivalent.
  • Good technical knowledge in Mechanical systems / engineering and ACMV.
  • Good communication skills and Proficient in Microsoft application.
