Job summary

GOLDEN VILLAGE MULTIPLEX PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a skilled Technical & Projection Manager to oversee film programming, scheduling, and session management across cinema and live events. You will operate projection systems, coordinate AVL for live screenings, perform routine maintenance, and lead a small technical team while ensuring top audience experience.

The role requires a Diploma/degree in Film Tech/AV Engineering or IT with 3–5 years in cinema projection operations, including supervisory

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Film Technology, Electronics, AV Engineering, IT, or related technical field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cinema projection operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong technical knowledge of projection systems and equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Leadership and staff supervision skills.
Ability to manage schedules, rosters, and maintenance plans.

Responsibilities

Oversee film programming, ingest, and scheduling to ensure accurate show timing.
Operate and monitor cinema projection systems and AV equipment.
Lead live/VR/AVL event setup and coordination with event teams.
Perform routine maintenance and coordinate external servicing as needed.
Supervise technical staff and plan duty rosters.
Liaise with operations and management on equipment and staffing issues.
Ensure safety procedures and documentation are maintained.
