Job Description:
1. Safety Management & Support for Bukom and Jurong Island
  • Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at the Bukom, Jurong Island, and DPLC operations to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
  • Operational Safety Support: Ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed across the facilities, with a focus on both routine and project-based activities.
  • Site-Specific HSE Management: Implement site-specific safety measures and procedures, particularly for high-risk activities at Bukom and Jurong Island.
2. Training and Awareness
  • HSE Training Programs: Organize and conduct regular training sessions for staff and contractors at Bukom, Jurong Island, and DPLC to ensure they understand HSE procedures and safety protocols.
  • Safety Awareness Initiatives: Promote safety awareness across all sites, ensuring employees are educated on potential hazards and the importance of maintaining a safety-conscious environment.
3. Incident Reporting and Investigation
  • Incident Reporting: the reporting and investigation of accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions at all operational sites. Ensure that root cause analysis (RCA) is conducted and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of incidents, investigations, and resolutions, ensuring compliance with HSE reporting standards.
4. Compliance Assurance
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations (WSH, MOM) and international safety standards at Bukom, Jurong Island, and DPLC.
  • Maintain Certifications: Be responsible for maintaining all relevant certifications for HSE standards, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and updated regularly.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure that all compliance-related documents are up-to-date, accurately filed, and readily available for audits.
5. DPLC Responsibility & Audit Management
  • DPLC HSE Management: Oversee and manage the HSE requirements for DPLC operations, ensuring that all safety measures, audits, and training are consistently carried out.
  • Audit Support: Lead HSE audits for DPLC, Bukom, and Jurong Island, working closely with internal and external auditors to ensure all safety and environmental standards are met.
  • Maintain Certifications: Ensure all certifications related to DPLC and the other operational sites are valid and renewed in a timely manner.
6. Customer Communication & Reporting
  • HSE Reports & Updates: Provide regular updates and HSE reports to senior management, detailing safety performance, incidents, and compliance status at all sites.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding safety-related issues at Bukom, Jurong Island, and DPLC.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field (Preferred)
  • Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHAD) are beneficial.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HSE or a related field, with a focus on high-risk environments such as warehousing, marine operations, and industrial projects.
  • Experience working in Bukom and Jurong Island facilities or similar oil and gas/industrial operations is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of local safety regulations (WSH, MOM) and international HSE standards.
  • Proven ability to manage safety audits, training programs, and incident investigations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
