Project / Site Coordinator in Structural Steel Work (Construction)
- To be responsible for the logistical, administrative and operational for construction project aspects, including liaise with customers for project requirements and progress;
- To plan the work sequence and manpower deployment require for the construction site works;
- Attend meetings, correspondences and liaise with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers in resolving design and site problems encountered during the construction period.
- To supervise workers and monitor sub-contractors at construction sites.
- To ensure efficient utilization of manpower, raw materials and consumables for our construction projects at construction sites;
- To ensure that construction projects are completed as per approved drawings within the required deadline and allocated budget;
- To take actions to resolve any delay/ technical issues/ difficulties that may arise on constructions sites;
- To ensure the works at construction sites carried out are complying with safe work procedures;
- To keep up with inventory and maintenance of tools and equipment for shopfloor and site;
- To be able to consolidate proper documents required for inspection, site works and claims;
- To report to project team on work progress at construction sites;
- To prepare MOS and MSRA presentation for customer view;
- To be able to foresee the shortcomings of the project and discuss with team;
- To perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher education in related field.
- Able to use Autocad/Tekla will be preferred.
- Able to converse and write in English & Mandarin in order to communicate with local and overseas customers.
- Able to work outdoor areas.
- Class 3 license will be advantage.
- 5-days work week.
