Job summary

A tech solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced System Administrator to oversee and enhance the infrastructure for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Ground Control Systems. The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience including hands-on skills in VMware, Microsoft services, and Linux systems. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator.
• Hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of VMware hypervisor.
• Knowledge of Microsoft core services (AD, DNS, GPO) is essential.
• Experience with Linux systems and Networking.
• Experience with FortiGate Firewalls including security policies and VPNs.

• Oversee and enhance the infrastructure supporting our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Ground Control Systems.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of mission‑critical systems used in UAV operations.
• Manage virtualized environments, operating systems, and secure networking, with a strong emphasis on automation and system resilience in real‑time control environments.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator, with hands‑on experience in the installation, configuration and maintenance in the following areas:
• VMware hypervisor
• Microsoft OS, installation and maintenance of Microsoft core services (AD, DNS, GPO)
• Linux systems
• Networking (CCNA Level), installing and maintaining switches, deep understanding of L2 and L3 protocols
• FortiGate Firewalls installation and maintenance, including security policies, VPNs, and advanced threat protection features

It will be an added advantage with minimum 5 years' experience in the following areas:

• Automation tools, with experience in Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform
• Storage technologies and iSCSI protocol
• Docker technologies
• PKI maintenance
• IP Multicast protocols (e.g., PIM, IGMP) in enterprise or service provider environments, including configuration and optimization
• Network management systems
