A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an experienced System Administrator to oversee UAV Ground Control Systems infrastructure. You'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical UAV operation systems. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience and expertise in VMware, Microsoft OS, and networking. This role emphasizes automation and real-time control resilience.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator with hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience with VMware hypervisor, Microsoft OS, and networking (CCNA Level).
• Familiarity with FortiGate Firewalls installation and maintenance.

Overview

Oversee and enhance the infrastructure supporting our UAV Ground Control Systems. Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems used in UAV operations. Manage virtualized environments, operating systems, and secure networking, with a strong emphasis on automation and system resilience in real-time control environments.

• Manage virtualized environments, operating systems, and secure networking with a focus on automation and real-time control resilience.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator, with hands-on experience in installation, configuration and maintenance in the following areas:
• VMware hypervisor
• Microsoft OS; installation and maintenance of Microsoft core services (AD, DNS, GPO)
• Networking (CCNA Level); installing and maintaining switches; deep understanding of L2 and L3 protocols
• FortiGate Firewalls installation and maintenance, including security policies, VPNs, and advanced threat protection features
• It will be an added advantage with minimum 5 years of experience in the following areas:
• Automation tools, with experience in Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform
• Storage technologies and iSCSI protocol
• Docker technologies
• PKI maintenance
• IP Multicast protocols (e.g., PIM, IGMP) in enterprise or service provider environments, including configuration and optimization
