Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Sales Engineer – Marine & Offshore to develop and manage project-based sales opportunities within the marine, offshore, and oil & gas sectors. The role involves providing technical sales support, developing engineering‑based solutions, and managing the commercial aspects of complex offshore and marine projects from opportunity identification through project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop project opportunities in the marine, offshore, shipbuilding, and oil & gas sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, shipyards, EPC contractors, and offshore operators.
- Review client technical specifications, drawings, and standards for marine and offshore projects.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and bid documentation.
- Recommend suitable equipment and systems based on class and industry standards (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register, BV, etc.).
- Conduct technical presentations and project meetings with clients.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for solution development and execution alignment.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, and warranty terms.
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming offshore/marine projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3–7+ years of experience in project sales or engineering within marine, offshore, oil & gas, or shipbuilding industries.
- Strong knowledge of offshore and marine systems (propulsion, power generation, dynamic positioning, deck machinery, piping, or automation systems).

Preferred Experience
- Experience working with shipyards, offshore EPC contractors, and classification societies.
- Familiarity with IMO, SOLAS, and offshore safety regulations.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems and project tracking tools.
