Nanyang Technological University Singapore is seeking an expert in air traffic management (ATM) to provide guidance on operational procedures and safety. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to develop innovative Concepts of Operations for next-generation ATM systems.
Responsibilities include supporting human-in-the-loop experiments, contributing to training and crisis management, and advising on technological advancements. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Computer Science and at least 2 years of experience in air traffic control are required.
The SME provides expert guidance on air traffic management (ATM), operational procedures, and aviation safety to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant aircraft operations. The role works closely with internal and external SMEs, as well as stakeholders, to develop and validate innovative Concepts of Operations (ConOps) for next-generation ATM systems. In addition, the SME supports the design and execution of human-in-the-loop (HITL) experiments and simulation activities, ensuring operational realism and relevance. Additionally, the SME contributes to training, scenario development, and crisis management support, strengthening operational readiness and fostering innovation across ATM initiatives.
