The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer. Intra-operative imaging is an exciting and intriguing field at the intersection of engineering, optics, and biomedicine. Whether at the bedside or in the operating room, real-time, image based diagnosis of disease has the potential to greatly enhance patient care. The staff will join a new research group at NTU developing miniaturized medical imaging technology.
Support clinical translation of lab-developed microscopy and optical imaging technologies, in collaboration with eminent clinicians and surgeons
Opportunity to work on advanced bioengineering technologies in the lab to develop new translational capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
Experience and interest in optics, electronics, software, or other relevant technologies
Some evidence of interest/commitment to clinical translation, technology deployment to clinical/hospital environments, clinical administration is a major plus.
