Overview

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer. Intra-operative imaging is an exciting and intriguing field at the intersection of engineering, optics, and biomedicine. Whether at the bedside or in the operating room, real-time, image based diagnosis of disease has the potential to greatly enhance patient care. The staff will join a new research group at NTU developing miniaturized medical imaging technology.

Responsibilities
  • Support clinical translation of lab-developed microscopy and optical imaging technologies, in collaboration with eminent clinicians and surgeons

  • Opportunity to work on advanced bioengineering technologies in the lab to develop new translational capabilities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.

  • Experience and interest in optics, electronics, software, or other relevant technologies

  • Some evidence of interest/commitment to clinical translation, technology deployment to clinical/hospital environments, clinical administration is a major plus.
