Job summary

Unison Group in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager - Wholesale Banking to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and regulatory initiatives within the Wholesale Banking domain.

You will manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder communications, working with business units, technology teams, vendors and senior management to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery and effective change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.
• PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure delivery of projects in line with scope, quality, cost, and timeline commitments.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
• Act as the primary liaison between business units, technology teams, vendors, and senior management.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and governance forums.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Work closely with Wholesale Banking teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Drive process improvements and recommend best practices for efficiency.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to implement necessary controls.
• Develop change management strategies to support adoption of new systems and processes.
• Oversee training, UAT, and business readiness activities.
• Provide post-implementation support and ensure smooth transition to BAU.
• Collaborate with IT and external vendors to deliver technical solutions.
• Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance.

Job Scope

The Project Manager - Wholesale Banking will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of strategic and regulatory projects within the Wholesale Banking domain. This role requires strong expertise in project management, banking processes, and stakeholder management to ensure successful execution of initiatives that support business growth, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee training, user acceptance testing (UAT), and business readiness activities.

• Manage vendor contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field; PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
• 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3–5 years in Wholesale Banking projects.
• Strong knowledge of Wholesale Banking products (Cash Management, Trade, Treasury, Loans, Credit, etc.).
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
