A construction management company in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the entire construction lifecycle. Responsibilities include managing budgets and schedules, leading project teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field and 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry. This role offers an opportunity to lead and mentor teams on significant construction projects.
This Project Manager will be overseeing the entire construction lifecycle, managing budgets, schedules, and teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality standards, while also coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and authorities like the BCA. Their role involves strong leadership, risk management, and communication to resolve issues and meet project objectives.
Leads projects from planning and design through to completion and handover.
Manages and mentors project teams, including engineers, architects, and site staff.
Develops and monitors project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Liaises with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
Identifies potential project risks and conflicts, developing and implementing mitigation plans.
Ensures compliance with contract specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Prepares and presents progress reports, cost updates, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.
Oversees the development and maintenance of crucial project documentation, such as schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of working experience in the construction industry.
Inclusive of at least 1 to 3 years of managing building construction projects, often with a focus on specific sectors like residential, warehouse, factory projects.
Equipped with experience in leadership, organizational, and communication skills are vital for coordinating various parties and resolving conflicts.
Familiarity with local construction codes, regulatory requirements (e.g., BCA), and project management software is essential.
