A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee daily activities and ensure timely project completion while adhering to budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry and possess strong project management skills. Job Description
To manage and to oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
To develop and formulate cost-effective plan for timely completion of project within the budget and to implement execution plan.
Monitor the construction productivity, schedule, performance and investigate reasons for any unsatisfactory performance. To also provide recommendations and measures for improvement.
Manage subcontractors’ works to ensure compliance with contract requirements and the quality of work. To monitor the quality of project delivery to ensure it meets the project requirements and regulations.
Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors for matters related to the construction of the project.
Ensure that all workplace safety standards, rules and regulations are being complied at the construction sites and throughout the project.
Responsible to site progress according to schedule set.
To lead a site construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work.
To ensure works carried out meet company’s quality standards & contractual requirements.
To review and approve materials requisitions.
Execute overall scheduling and specific planning work.
Design, implement progress and schedule control systems for the project according to set requirements.
Construction planning, and to co-ordinate with the client, sub-contractors, consultants and Authorities on all project aspects.
Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures at site.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction / Building / Engineering industry in Singapore.

Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Chinese (in order to co-ordinate with the English and Chinese speaking client, sub-contractors, consultants and Authorities in regards with the project aspects and construction planning matters.)
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Manager specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
Job Description & Requirements
Execute the overall project and management strategy of the projects assigned
Monitor the progress of the project to ensure it is according to planned schedule
Good understanding of the project requirements and ensure its delivery
Handle design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, pre-consultation, site meetings and project meetings
Works closely with the project team in the co-ordination, organization & preparation of documentations and drawings
Able to understand BIM concepts and apply it on project
Monitor and inform Project Design Team on clashes
Ensure that the clashes highlighted are resolved or concluded, if not, continuous monitoring for resolution to be provided by Project Design Team
Monitor and ensure drawing submission schedule is achieved
Manage process of exchange and coordination of BIM model with consultants, client and stakeholders
Support Project Design Team in managing RFIs as well as making presentation with BIM related software
Perform and maintain proper documentation of clash detection report
1) Proficiency in BIM & Revit & VDC 2) Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Construction / Building / Engineering industry
