Project Manager (Marine)

• Salary: $4,500 - $5,000
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Location: Penjuru Lane

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day projects of Afloat Repairs, Lifesaving & Fire‑Fighting Inspection and offshore projects on Ships/Rigs in Singapore and at Overseas.
• Assist head of department in handling the company’s field service operations, in technical, operational and commercial matters, try to complete on schedule and keep in good quality.
• Work out project quotation, send to HOD or management approval.
• Prepare project costing for job completion settlement with customers.
• Issue material, tools & equipment requisition to company supply department for purchase.
• Issue purchase order to the subcontractors for maintenance and service.
• Monitor, manage and coordinate company repair team and / or subcontractors for the job execution.
• Liaise with clients, such as Shipowner / managers, Offshore Operators, Shipyard Repair Managers, Agents and others for project management;
• Manage the tools & equipment which are kept in company’s warehouse, calibration periodically at require.
• Handover related contact information in written to company’s logistic coordinator for transportation arrangement for Engineers and repair team, tools & equipment to and from job sites
• Manage all documentation & certificates ready for the project and submit to the client once job completion and keep in project file and ERP system for reference
• Answer customer queries and provide remote technical support.
• As per request by the HOD or management to develop the repair technic, training and team build up.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least Diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent
• Experienced for marine machinery and equipment
• Past experience in Shipyard or working on board of ship is preference
• Experience in coordinating marine service work, especially afloat repairs will be an advantage
• Able to commit even after office hours due to the nature of the job
