Overview
  • Industry/ Organization Type: Building & Construction
  • Position Title: Project Manager (Interior Fit-Out & Carpentry)
  • Working Location: Depending on project site
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + VB
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute projects, ensuring completion within contractual schedule and budget.
  • Supervise a team of carpenters to achieve production targets and meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure furniture is fabricated in accordance with construction drawings.
  • Review drawings, design notes, and key specifications.
  • Attend site meetings, carry out inspections, and monitor project progress.
  • Coordinate and liaise with authorities, clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee site operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety practices.
  • Monitor daily site progress and provide regular status updates to management.
  • Manage project claims, secure approvals for variation orders, and prepare billing documents.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge in Interior Design, Carpentry, or Joinery preferred.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Able to commence work within short notice will be an advantage.
