About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead one or multiple ground improvement and soil stabilization projects, ensuring excellence in technical execution, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a proactive, accountable leader with strong project delivery experience in the geotechnical or civil engineering sector and the ability to manage complex site operations and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ground improvement and geotechnical construction projects to achieve on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Plan, organize, and control project resources — manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors — to optimize efficiency and performance.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and progress tracking systems.
- Coordinate with procurement on bid preparation, contracting, and material supply to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure technical compliance and efficient execution.
- Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical documents; evaluate and implement design or site modifications as necessary.
- Oversee site progress, safety, and quality control in compliance with company and client standards.
- Build and maintain strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and present project progress reports, cost forecasts, and variation or claim documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and promoting best practices across teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline. Master’s Degree in related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience in geotechnical, foundation, or ground improvement projects.
- Proven ability to take ownership of project outcomes — driving accountability across teams and ensuring objectives are achieved.
- Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills to guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with soil improvement techniques such as PVD, vibro compaction, deep cement mixing, or stone columns is advantageous.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Auto-Cad) and Microsoft Office suite.
