Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Global Construction to lead regional expansion projects, coordinating with Global Facilities, Site Construction, PMO, and central teams.

The role focuses on schedule, cost, and risk management across the full life cycle of construction delivery. Ideal candidates hold an engineering-related degree and 12+ years of experience, including greenfield/brownfield, with EPCM project management, OSM expertise, and CMP/FMDP certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience, including 8 years in base build and greenfield/brownfield settings.
• Experience in EPCM project management.
• Off-site manufacturing expertise (OSM).
• Professional certifications in construction management (CMP, FMDP).
• Flexibility to travel regularly and manage cost/schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedule, cost, and risk for regional expansion.
• Coordinate with Global Facilities, Site Construction, Central Teams, and PMO.
• Highlight opportunities to align with partners and internal deliverables.
• Oversee business processes and standards across project delivery.
• Serve as knowledge source for full life cycle of construction deliverables and risk management.
• Identify and share AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Accountable for the project management of schedule, cost management and risk control region expansion
• Establish effective communication with key partners – Global Facilities and Construction Management, Site Construction team, Central Teams and the PMO team
• Establish ability to highlight opportunities to create alignment with partners and areas of focus/prioritization for the internal team on deliverables
• Required to establish oversight to business processes and standards throughout the project delivery.
• Be the knowledge source for the full life cycle of construction project delivery and risk management.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in Construction, Building, Project Management, Engineering or Architecture related field.
• Suitable candidates are likely to have a minimum of 12 years working experience consist of 8 years of experience in base build, Progressive Build Experience in greenfield and brownfield settings
• Off-site manufacturing expertise (OSM)
• Professional certifications in construction management (e.g., CMP, FMDP)
• Experience as a construction project management in EPCM project.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on a regular basis
• Cost and Schedule management experience.
