Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager – FP&A (Techno-functional) with strong expertise in banking finance operations, planning, and reporting systems.
This role is responsible for driving FP&A transformation projects — integrating finance processes, analytics, and technology platforms to enhance financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across the bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background combined with hands‑on experience in financial systems implementation, ideally within a banking or financial services environment.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field;
- Must have 8–14 years of experience in FP&A, Finance Transformation, or Financial Systems Projects, preferably in a Banking or Financial Services organization;
- Must have implemented full end‑to‑end projects for finance applications (e.g., General Ledger, Enterprise Budget, Financial Consolidation, MAS 637, MAS 610, Performance Management Reporting);
- Must understand financial data;
- Able to perform deep dive impact assessment, detailed data analysis and data profiling;
- Able to facilitate and drive workshop discussions with business and tech teams;
- Proven experience managing FP&A/EPM system implementations (e.g., Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Hyperion, Workday Adaptive Planning);
- Strong understanding of banking finance concepts — P&L, Balance Sheet, NII, Liquidity, Capital Adequacy, Cost‑to‑Income ratios, and others;
- Experience integrating FP&A systems with Core Banking, GL, and Data Warehouse systems.
Desired Skill-set
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile);
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of FP&A transformation projects (system implementation, automation, and process improvement);
- Define project scope, milestones, budgets, and deliverables aligned with finance and regulatory requirements;
- Manage cross‑functional teams involving Finance, Risk, IT, and Data teams;
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery;
- Ensure compliance with internal project governance and banking regulatory standards;
- Partner with Finance leadership to design and optimize budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting frameworks;
- Drive adoption of standardized FP&A processes across business units and regions;
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial and management reporting;
- Translate finance requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with IT teams;
- Lead system testing (UAT, SIT), data migration, and post‑go‑live stabilization;
- Work with BI/Analytics teams to develop dashboards and self‑service analytics using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik;
- Collaborate with senior management, finance business partners, and IT stakeholders;
- Manage external vendors, consultants, and technology partners to ensure quality delivery and adherence to SLAs;
- Communicate project status, risks, and benefits to senior executives and steering committees.
