Job Overview
The Project Manager ( Electrical & ELV System ) is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of projects including Electrical system / ELV system from design to project implementation.
This role involves direct client engagement, design coordination & project coordination to ensure all deliverables are met according to the project specification.
The successful candidate will be proficient in Electrical system solution & ELV system solution delivery from concept to handover, supporting both technical excellence and seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Define and implement relevant project management tools that will align with corporate goals.
- Manage the end-to-end design and delivery of all project works, from client consultation to final project handover.
- Oversee detailed design and implementation of all project / MEP system, ELV system and combined services drawings (CSDs).
- Ensure all designs are aligned with client requirements, industry standards, and constructability best practices.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to deliver high‑quality and on‑schedule project works.
- Responsible for project deliverables and ensuring project is completed on time and within budget
- Perform site management (when needed) on the installation works, inspections, testing, commissioning and handing over of project Systems to clients
- Analysing and management of project risk, cost and budget and contractual issues
- Liaise with the clients, consultants, main contractors / M&E team, sub‑contractors and internal team and departments
- Develop project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones; track schedule progress in the field, and update the schedule regularly
- Ensure all project activities are efficiently and cost‑effectively executed throughout the project life cycle
- Ensuring compliance to project scope and technical specifications
2. Electrical System / ELV Systems on Design & Implementation
- Lead the design, coordination, and execution of Extra‑Low Voltage (ELV) systems for all project assigned. Such as :
- ELV , EVC & Security Systems.
- AV / Video Conferencing Systems
- BMS, BA, and Fire Alarm Systems (preferred)
- ICT & Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)
- Manage external consultants in preparing detailed design documents, reviewing tender materials, and supporting bid evaluations.
- Ensure that ELV system designs meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements with reference to relevant international and local standards.
3. Client Liaison & Technical Support
- Serve as the primary technical interface for all clients throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and ensuring alignment with client design and construction requirements.
- Be the main point of contacts for client to handle updates, progress issues and escalation.
- Familiar with Singapore SS / COP / Construction and infrastructure standards.
4. Standards, Innovation & Technology
- Stay updated on the latest developments in ELV, building automation, and building fit‑out technologies.
- Research and evaluate new solutions in intelligent building automation, environmental monitoring, and IoT integration to enhance building system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Support the development and maintenance of all projects and design Standards, ensuring alignment across all regional projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
- Candidates with significant project management / Electrical system / ELV system experience will be considered based on equivalent qualifications.
- 8 years of experience in Electrical / ELV system design and implementation or project fit‑out.
- Able to independently manage the full project lifecycle — design, procurement, construction, testing, and handover.
- Experience working with design consultants, system integrators, and general contractors.
- Strong understanding of local project SS / COP, ELV standards, installation practices, and system integration principles.
- Familiar with infrastructure systems and fit‑out coordination between electrical, mechanical, MEP and ICT services.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of BMS, BA, and Fire Alarm systems, Electrical, T & C and FAT / SAT acceptance documentation standards.
- Knowledge in HT LV, ELV systems, and ACMV / Fire systems / BMS system is an advantage.
- Proficient in BIM , Revit, AutoCAD, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with local codes, safety standards, and design intent.
- Supervise testing and commissioning of systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, etc.).
- Enforce workplace safety standards (WSH, risk assessments, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., EMA, BCA, SCDF in Singapore); local regulations, HR policies, and corporate standards.
