Join our team as a Project Manager/ Design Manager in the rail infrastructure sector, where you’ll lead and coordinate design activities to support projects across the rail, energy, and other infrastructure sectors. The Opportunity

• Undertake day-to-day design management and coordination for ongoing and future rail infrastructure projects.


• Lead a team of technical specialists to deliver high-quality design outcomes under the guidance of the Project Manager or Project Director.


• Manage project scope, time, quality, and performance, ensuring the timely delivery of design elements.


• Liaise with stakeholders and negotiate suitable outcomes while ensuring design objectives align with project goals.


• Contribute to tender submissions, project reports, and stakeholder communications to maintain strong client relationships.

Is this role right for you?

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and atleast 5 to 7 years experience in rail infrastructure projects, C&S background with substation and programmes.


• Membership or eligibility for membership in relevant professional institutions.


• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards (including OH&S and Arup’s Quality Management System).


• Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.


• A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with the ability to work under pressure and foster team spirit.
