Job summary

A tech company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager to lead data annotation projects at its Robotics Data Center. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of project management experience, a strong background in data annotation workflows, and proficiency in Shell or Python scripting. Conversational Chinese is needed to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders. This role is open to global candidates.

Job description

I am helping my client to seek for an experienced Program/Project Manager to lead and oversee data annotation projects within a cutting-edge Robotics Data Center in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of data collection and annotation workflows, and hands‑on experience with AI or robotics data operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive end-to-end execution of data annotation projects, ensuring on‑time and high‑quality delivery.
• Develop a deep understanding of business needs, data acquisition, and labeling requirements to support various AI training scenarios.
• Establish and align annotation standards, write detailed SOPs, conduct implementation training, and provide guidance and issue resolution to ensure smooth project rollout.
• Oversee quality control processes for data annotation (e.g., semantic segmentation, bounding boxes, 3D point clouds) and proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate across teams to monitor progress, manage resources, and optimize workflows for large‑scale data operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or Big Data–related disciplines.
• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in data annotation, data operations, or AI model development.
• Familiar with common algorithmic models and their data requirements; prior experience in robotics or large model (foundation model) data projects is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Shell or Python scripting for batch data processing will be a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills, with the ability to drive multi‑stakeholder collaboration effectively.
