As a Project Manager, you will be leading government sector projects with a focus on cybersecurity and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have a consulting background and a proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder public sector programs that involve security, infrastructure, or compliance components. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of project delivery, ensuring alignment with government regulations, cybersecurity frameworks, and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
  • Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, risk management, and post-implementation review.
  • Define project scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables to meet client expectations.
  • Ensure all cybersecurity requirements, compliance standards, and data protection policies are integrated throughout project execution.
Government & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the main liaison between client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure clear communication across all levels.
  • Lead governance meetings, report project status, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Cybersecurity Oversight
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity architects and specialists to align project deliverables with national cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. IM8, MAS TRM, NIST).
  • Ensure all implemented systems meet required cybersecurity posture and audit standards.
  • Drive risk assessments and incident response readiness as part of project scope.
Consulting & Strategy
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to translate client requirements into secure and scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to proposal development, project planning, and pre-sales engagements for new cybersecurity-related government tenders.
  • Provide advisory input on cybersecurity strategy, digital resilience, and compliance frameworks.
Team & Vendor Management
  • Manage cross-functional project teams including vendors, solution architects, and analysts.
  • Oversee vendor deliverables, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to ensure seamless execution in a hybrid (onsite/offshore) delivery model.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years managing public sector or cybersecurity projects.
  • Proven experience in consulting environments or similar complex delivery settings.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management principles.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
  • Security-related certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) will be an advantage.
