is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of Attack Simulation engagements, including Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, Purple Teaming, and Bespoke Security Assessments. You will manage project execution, budgets, stakeholders, and governance to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in line with client requirements and internal quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex IT or cybersecurity projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery.
• Experience budgeting, financial tracking and resource planning across multiple engagements.
• Familiarity with Penetration Testing, Red/Purple Teaming and related methodologies.
• Ability to manage cybersecurity tool licensing, vendor relationships and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity engagements including PT, Red/Purple Teaming, and Bespoke Assessments.
• Develop project schedules, monitor milestones, and coordinate resources for successful execution.
• Plan logistics, environment readiness, tool provisioning, client coordination and support.
• Track budgets, monitor expenditure, optimise resources, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Manage tools and software assets, licensing, renewals, and technology evaluation.
• Partner with technical consultants to align delivery with client objectives and standards.
• Provide regular updates, risk reports, and governance communications to stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation including plans, deliverables and progress reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and team productivity.

Cybersecurity Project Manager (Attack Simulation)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects within the Attack Simulation portfolio, including Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, Purple Teaming, and Bespoke Security Assessments. This role is responsible for managing project execution, resource planning, budgets, stakeholder engagement, and operational governance to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity engagements, including Penetration Testing (PT), Red Teaming, Purple Teaming, and Bespoke Assessments.
• Develop project schedules, monitor milestones, and coordinate resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Plan and oversee project logistics, including environment readiness, tool provisioning, client coordination, and operational support.
• Track project budgets, monitor expenditure, optimise resource utilisation, and ensure cost-effective project delivery.
• Manage cybersecurity tools and software assets, including licensing, renewals, usage, and evaluation of new technologies.
• Partner with technical consultants and security teams to align project delivery with client objectives, technical requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Provide regular project updates, risk reporting, and status communications to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain project documentation, including project plans, deliverables, progress reports, and governance records.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, operational workflows, and team productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex IT or cybersecurity projects, preferably within consulting or professional services environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
• Experience managing project budgets, financial tracking, cost control, and resource planning across multiple engagements.
• Good understanding of Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, Purple Teaming, and related cybersecurity assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with managing cybersecurity tools, software licensing, vendor relationships, and technology lifecycle management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while providing project leadership and coordination.
