Responsibilities

• Coordinate the project execution and communication among collaborating parties.
• Work with PI and Co-I on experimental designs, conducting experiments, troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Upgrade and operate a pilot-scale circulating fluidized bed system.
• Procure and commission a pilot-scale system to produce CO2 sorbents.
• Procure consumables and research equipment.
• Liaise with industry partners, vendors, contractors, university departments and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be undertaking full research work and administrative duties during the term of employment:

• Coordinate the project execution and communication among the collaborating parties.
• Work synergistically with PI and Co-I in experimental designs, conducting experiments, troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Upgrading and operating a pilot-scale circulating fluidized bed system.
• Procure and commission a pilot-scale system to produce CO2 sorbents.
• Procure consumables and research equipment.
• Liaise with industry partners, vendors, contractors, university departments and government agencies.

Job Requirements:

• The candidate must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications specialising in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an internationally reputable university.
• Extensive experience in managing pilot-scale research projects is required.
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent teamwork awareness.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Productive, hard-working and dedicated to the completion of any task assigned.
