Job description
Responsibilities
  • Report directly to top management with overall responsibility and authority for the effective management and timely execution of construction projects.
  • Lead and manage a team of project engineers responsible for infrastructure and facilities planning & development.
  • Ensure all aspects comply with government regulations and safety standards, including inspections, testing of equipment and machinery, and training of staff.
  • Control and monitor work progress to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee project cost planning and control to ensure cost-effectiveness and minimize wastage.
  • Manage and lead project teams to ensure successful completion of large‑scale, complex projects.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on project‑related matters and resolve issues effectively.
  • Liaise with government authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide accurate and timely project progress reports to management.
  • Identify potential project issues and implement corrective measures promptly.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Degree / Master’s in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 5–10 years of relevant project management experience, ideally in the local building/construction industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
