We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellence from design to handover. As a Project Manager (Architectural & Façade), you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of façade and architectural works from project initiation to completion. Your role includes ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, strong cost control, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards (following BCA, WSH, and all local regulations).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop full project plans covering scope, budget, schedule, and manpower.
- Lead and oversee architectural and façade installation works in line with specifications and safety requirements.
- Manage daily operations and track progress against approved timelines.
- Resolve technical and coordination issues in collaboration with consultants and site teams.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and drafters to ensure accuracy of shop drawings and details.
- Review and approve technical submissions, samples, and mock-ups.
- Ensure fabrication and installation follow design intent and buildability requirements.
- Lead technical meetings to address discrepancies or interface issues.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Track variations, claims, and expenses throughout project lifecycle.
- Review and certify subcontractor progress claims and material requisitions.
- Provide financial and progress updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with architectural specs, building codes, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality and material standards.
- Enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements.
- Encourage a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and communication protocols clearly.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and seamless coordination among all stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Provide timely updates, professional communication, and proactive solutions.
- Manage change orders, variations, and required documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of all project works with required quality standards.
- Lead inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate submission of as-built drawings, warranties, and O&M manuals.
- Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building & Construction, or related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant project management experience in Singapore (architectural/façade preferred).
- Experience in subcontractor management and design coordination for medium/large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with BCA codes, WSH regulations, and local statutory submissions.
- Safety for Project Managers certification (or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and deliver under tight timelines.
Working Conditions
- Standard 5.5-day work week.
- HQ Location Tuas View.
- Weekend work may be required depending on project progress.
- Regular on-site presence is necessary to supervise ongoing works.
