Allied Container (Engineers & Manufacturer) – Tuas

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of our infrastructure and development projects. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on project management, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.

You will oversee a team, manage contractors and vendors, and coordinate with consultants, local authorities, and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes. A strong technical foundation in mechanical or electrical engineering is essential, along with proven experience in supervision and project delivery.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Mandarin and demonstrates excellent communication and negotiation skills to navigate complex stakeholder environments. You will play a pivotal role in driving timely project completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Employer, consultants, main contractor, and Employer's contracted specialists (e.g., automated crane, automated warehouse, heavy lifting specialists, interior designer).
  • Coordinate and align all stakeholders, proactively identifying risks such as lead time, shipment delays, or site readiness, and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Attend site meetings, represent Employer's interests, and ensure all project activities remain consistent with the original scope and intent.
  • Track, capture, and report all variations or deviations from the original plan, providing clear updates to the Employer on critical matters.
  • Supervise Employer's contracted specialists to ensure works are executed in compliance with contracts, completed on schedule, and integrated smoothly with the main contractor's activities.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Employer's specialists, heavy‑lifting service providers, the main contractor, and consultants to achieve timely project delivery.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 5‑7 years’ relevant experience in project management, construction, or industrial development projects.
  • Proven record of delivering large‑scale or technically complex projects within schedule and budget.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
  • Familiar with local building codes, regulatory requirements, and authority submission processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and/or other project management software.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (for liaison with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and external vendors.
  • Possesses valid Singapore PE Board (Professional Engineer) registration or equivalent qualification (an advantage).
