Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of building approval processes, interior fit-out projects, and coordination with builders, consultants, and authorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Singapore’s building regulations, project execution standards, and stakeholder management. Experience managing projects in Australia and Malaysia will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project execution for interior fit-out, renovation, and building development works.
- Handle all building plan submissions, authority approvals, and ensure full compliance with BCA, URA, SCDF, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise effectively with architects, builders, contractors, consultants, and government bodies to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project schedules are met.
- Manage tendering, vendor selection, and contractor performance, ensuring cost and timeline efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for design finalization, progress reporting, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and approval records.
- Oversee handover and occupancy certificate processes, ensuring all compliance and quality standards are fulfilled.
- Provide regular project status updates to management and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Singapore Citizen.
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in project management, building approvals, and interior fit-out works.
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory frameworks (BCA, URA, NEA, SCDF, PUB, etc.).
- Proven experience in liaisoning and coordination with builders, consultants, and authorities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
- Added advantage: Prior experience managing projects in Australia and Malaysia, with familiarity in local compliance and design standards.
