Job summary

JD.COM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead AI infrastructure and GPU cluster projects across the APAC region. You will plan, execute, monitor progress, and ensure end-to-end delivery with cross-functional teams including vendors and partners.

The role requires 3+ years in technical project management, bilingual Chinese/English, and strong knowledge of Jira/Microsoft Project/Smartsheet. You will drive procurement, deployment readiness, and production handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of technical project management experience.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English for meetings and documentation.
• Experience coordinating across departments/regions, driving delivery.
• Understanding AI infrastructure architectures and project plans.
• Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar tools.
• Experience with data centers, GPU clusters, or cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).
• Experience working with NVIDIA ecosystem partners or data center operators.
• PM/Agile certifications (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM).
• Relevant data center or cloud infrastructure certifications.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, milestones, deliverables, roles, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes with stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate across AI infra, data center, vendors, and NVIDIA partners.
• Track hardware procurement, installation, deployment readiness including racks and cooling.
• Lead meetings, drive system integration, validation, and production handover.
• Provide regular updates to customers and management, supporting APAC delivery.

Job description

• 1. Manage AI infrastructure and GPU cluster projects, including project planning, execution scheduling, progress monitoring, and end-to-end delivery.
• 2. Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, roles and responsibilities, and acceptance criteria; develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.
• 3. Manage critical paths, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and changes, ensuring responsible stakeholders take timely action through closure.
• 4. Coordinate AI infrastructure, data center, vendor, and NVIDIA ecosystem partner teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• 5. Track the progress of hardware procurement, transportation, installation, and deployment, as well as the readiness of racks, power, cooling, cabling, networking, and other critical infrastructure.
• 6. Lead project meetings and drive system integration, cluster validation, performance testing, issue resolution, and handover to production operations.
• 7. Provide customers and management with regular updates on project progress, milestones, and risks, and support on-site project delivery across the APAC region.

What We Need to See：

• 1. Bachelor’s degree (BS) or above in Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2. At least 3 years of experience in technical project management or project delivery, with solid knowledge of scope, schedule, milestone, risk, issue, and stakeholder management.
• 3. Proficiency in both Chinese and English, with the ability to lead meetings, conduct business communications, and prepare project documentation in both languages.
• 4. Experience coordinating across departments, companies, or regions, with the ability to drive customers, internal teams, and vendors toward successful delivery.
• 5. Ability to understand AI infrastructure architectures, implementation plans, and test results, and translate them into actionable project plans.
• 6. Strong sense of ownership and a results-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
• 1. Project experience in data centers, GPU clusters, HPC, cloud computing, or AI infrastructure.
• 2. Experience working at cloud service providers such as AWS, Oracle, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, or delivering projects in collaboration with these providers.
• 3. Experience working with NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCPs), NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN) partners, OEMs, system integrators, or data center operators.
• 4. Familiarity with servers, GPUs, DPUs, storage systems, and data center infrastructure.
• 5. Understanding of hardware deployment, network and storage integration, system validation, performance testing, and production handover processes.
• 7. Project management or Agile certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, or PSM.
• 8. Certifications such as ITIL, CDCP/CDCS, Uptime Institute, NVIDIA AI Infrastructure, or other relevant data center certifications.
• 9. Cloud architecture or infrastructure certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
